Any form of Subsidence
Subsidence is the settling or sinking of the ground as a result of the loss of support from underlying soils or strata. This could be due to factors such as earthquakes, compaction, a decrease in groundwater, underground excavations or the settling of waste. Subsidence can adversely affect the structural integrity of the property.
